If we are going to work together, it is only fair you get to know me a bit more. So here are the important things to know about me.
I get asked a lot about my name. In Arabic, Ayman means "Blessed", which I believe I am. I have been blessed with a great career working for the greatest Multinationals in the world. I have been blessed with a loving family and I have been blessed by doing what I love. Helping people. Whether it's Coaching or building Capability, I get a buzz knowing my clients are making positive changes in their lives.
Born in Newcastle (no I don't have the accent, but support the team), my family moved to the Middle East (Kuwait) where I spent a happy childhood until the Gulf War in 1990. We lost everything, but it was an opportunity to start again back in the UK. Life nudges you in ways you don't expect and from adversity springs opportunity! My first sudden jolt in life.
The second challenging moment in my life, was in 2015, when I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, a form of Blood Cancer. As difficult as it was, it set me on a new path in Life. I met some amazing people, heard inspiring stories and am grateful to all those that helped me. Now, I help others succeed in their own lives.
I have sold biscuits to corner shops, negotiated Multi-Million Pound deals and led Senior Teams. I have worked in Global Roles, rolled out Visions and Strategies, worked on Consultations, Re-Structures, and travelled the world. I am fortunate to have received the best Training in the world, working for Nestle, PepsiCo & Mars, learned from the most inspiring leaders, coached and developed some of the most talented individuals and teams there are.
I am fascinated by People. By Teams. By Organisational Culture. What makes successful people tick. I have learned from leading and working in High Performing Teams. I've seen teams achieve the seemingly impossible.
I have also observed what happens when you don't get it right.
Life is too short to not be the best version of yourself.
